Alento

Design In Progress

Seconds from the beach, Alento takes its name from the Portuguese word for breath - a quiet expression of air, movement, and life.

A four-bedroom house with its own private pool, Alento is designed to breathe with the coast. Mediterranean and Swahili influences come together through sculpted arches, warm stone, textured plaster, shaded courtyards, and spaces that open effortlessly to the outdoors.

Light and ocean air move freely through the house. Generous ensuite bedrooms and flowing living spaces open onto sun-washed terraces, lush gardens, and the pool beyond, creating a home that moves naturally between shelter and sky.

Here, life slows to the rhythm of the coast - mornings carried in on the sea breeze, long afternoons beside the water, and evenings spent beneath open skies with the sound of the ocean only moments away.

Alento is a house that feels like an exhale: open, warm, and effortlessly connected to the sea.
