Morada

Overlooking the still waters of a lake in Goa, Morada takes its name from the Portuguese word for home or dwelling - a place not simply inhabited, but deeply lived in.

A five-bedroom house shaped around water, music, and movement, Morada unfolds along the edge of the lake. Music rooms, winding spiral staircases, and open living spaces lead onto generous patios that seem to float just above the water, dissolving the boundary between the house and its reflection.

The architecture moves gently with the landscape. Rooms open toward the lake, terraces reach outward over it, and curved staircases draw you between levels, revealing the water again and again from different heights and perspectives.
